‘Quid by DE BRIT’ Restaurant Review: Should you spend your coins here?

Quid by DE BRIT is a multipurpose restaurant in lagos, which offers not just fine dining services but has a bar and lounge. Cool to have a spot where you can go from talking over some nice sophisticated meals, to having drinks, laughing and shaking hands to done deals; that’s the vibe this spot gives me.

I love to see the effort and I know when we see a good spot, the urge to return is inevitable. The goal of every brand is to not just have new people use their service or product, but to create ambassadors who bring more people and return themselves. This can be as a result of having their needs met or being really impressed the first time.

I will be going in details about how I feel about the food, service, cocktail and interior deco of ‘Quid by DE BRIT’. Cause, it’s my job to let y’all know which spots are worth your coins.

Service

Good service or Bad service is a big determinant of returning customers. You could have the finest spot, best food and if the service ain’t great, it could have people running away.

The staff were well mannered, the waiters were attentive, helpful and nice. I noticed this right from the security personnel in front as I stepped into the premises.

My order was not delayed as well. This is a big deal for me, I am very impatient when I’m hungry. I believe I’m not alone in this, as many persons do not like waiting too long when they are hungry, lol. I was really satisfied with the way I was treated and I think you will too.

Aesthetics

Quid by DE BRIT has about 5 spots; the out door space, dinning area, bar, lounge and roof top view setting. I was really impressed with how every one of these spaces were decorated and arranged.

Dinning area

It was a pleasing sight to behold as I enjoyed the ambiance, as well as the comfort of the cow fur print seats. I like how there was a fusion of wood, fur and velvet materials to give a not-so conventional dining image. Really great for a birthday dinner with friends and family.

There is also something for a more intimate dinning feel, amazing for couples. Looking to propose to the woman of your dreams? You can reserve one of these tables.

Lounge

The lounge couch and table colour coordination puts your mind at ease and places you in the right setting to relax. While aesthetics are important, comfort in a lounge is paramount and my! my! my! are these couches comfortable. I have zero hate for the marvellous work done.

What endears me the most about the deco, is how each space has its own unique design, while giving a variety of combos within the different sections of this restaurant. You also have the luxury of a nice view from within the lounge.

Bar

Certainly, it is the urban conventional mix for me. Simple, yet speaking volume with the necessary artistic inclusion to put you in the party mood. The green and gold details on the wall, absolutely gorgeous!

There’s a corner for everyone here; want to have a sense of privacy? You’re covered, there’s a spot just close to the bar that’s not so open. Want to actively be part of the buzz and stay closer to the DJ, you’re also covered. Want to feel the air on your skin, a more open spot, you can simply stay at the balcony with the roof top vibe.

Talking about aesthetics, below are some great stairway photo spots I took note of:

Food

Let’s talk about the fooooood! I get excited when it’s food time. Y’all should know by now that I’m a big foodie. Good thing I also have taste buds for good food. So, I know amazing food when I have one. Food has a way of making you feel good, sort of therapeutic especially when very tasty.

Basically, if you love me, give me food. That’s one way to show it. That being said, I will be telling you about what I feel about the two dishes I had.

Stuffed chicken breast with potatoes

This as the name applies is a combination of chicken with some chicken sauce, curry leaf and potatoes. It looked so good, I couldn’t wait to have a taste and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted as sophisticated as it looks. This gets an 8/10 for me.

Singapore noddles

I enjoyed this very much. The veggies added some colour and while it was really spicy, I couldn’t fault it. For those who love spicy meals, I highly recommend this. The shrimps, sausage and chicken slices made it an even bigger delight to take down. This gets a 10/10 cause it was that great.

Cocktail

A journey to remember

This is a signature cocktail and tastes just as good as it looks. One of the best cocktails I’ve had. I was really impressed and I’m sure I’d have this again. The bartender that whipped this did a very nice job, I tell you.

All things considered, this restaurant is definitely worth your coins. Want a nice place for lunch, dinner, a party, meetings, event etc? I believe this is a good place to consider.

You can visit Quid by DE BRIT at 1E Babatope Bejide crescent, off Fola Osibo, Lekki phase 1, Lagos.
